Our testing is going very well. The students are doing great! Thank you for the snacks!
I am sending home a 4th grade science book with every 5th grader so that they can review for their Science portion of the CST on Friday and Monday. I really recommend that they review basic concepts and reread topics they are not familiar with.
I am not going to have a booth at the Multicultural Fair this year, however we will attend. Flyers are going home tomorrow in case you would like to volunteer in another booth. The more involvement… the better. The Fair is May 17th.
If you are attending my Sacramento Trip, please make sure that you send in your Emergency Forms and your order for the lunch on May 19th. (pink paper). Don’t forget that we have a very important meeting on May 13th at 6pm in room 502.

CST testing starts tomorrow.
Thank you to all those families that agreed to send in some snacks for the kids.
My room will be open at 7:45am for snacks to be dropped off. The students will be able to come in from 8:00 -8:15am to share the snack, then it will be cleaned up.
PLEASE make sure that your child has had a good night sleep, and has eaten a protein breakfast before coming to school….. do not count on the snack as breakfast.
Also, try to avoid any arguing, fighting, or bad words among the household. You would be surprised as to what the students are thinking about instead of concentrating on the exam. On the other hand, assure your child that this test is only one of many in their academic career.
Reviewing the release questions and blog game sites are a great way to prepare.
I know that all of my students will do their best on this exam!
